Spring is here and the wildflowers are blooming! The spring flowers will hit their peak here at Spring Mill in 1 to 2 weeks, don't miss them! Not sure what to look for? We're keeping a list of species in bloom at the Nature Center.
May is just a couple weeks away and attached you'll find the detailed program schedule for the month. As always, we'll be offering DAILY programming at the park beginning with Memorial Day Weekend (and running thru mid-August).
Two special events coming up in May; flyers for both are attached.
"Introducing... Cave River Valley" on May 2 will highlight a brand-new addition to Spring Mill State Park! Cave River Valley is a gorgeous piece of land, located about 15-min from our main property. Caves, glades, cliffs, and lots of history! This event features two special hikes that will showcase the new property.
"On the Homefront" on May 23-24 will bring you a look at the civilian side of the Civil War. We'll have programs designed for both adults and children.
