The Board of Park Commissioners executed an agreement with Arc Construction to build the two new pools for $5.9 million. The goal is to complete these new pools for the 2009 season on June 2nd. These pools will offer a zero-depth "Beach Area" with exciting water attractions for all ages to play in the water. The water attractions will include a water spray apparatus, tot slide and water jets in the "Beach Area" and a separate 150 foot water slide. Eight lanes will be available for competive and open recreational swiming.
