Angel mounds continues to grow

After 2 years since the tornado struck the Angel Mounds woodland area, much progress has been made, and more work is on the horizon.

Cub Scouts have built a bridge over the slough, and once the trails dry out from the heavy rains,
work can begin on conditioning the new trails.

The newer trails have not had a chance to be compacted and are very volnerable to soil erosion.

Current conditions are extremely bad right now due to the extreme rains lately, and most
of the trails are impassable.

With the river so high, I expect their to be huge amounts of debris to be left behind along the
more southern portions of the trails.
